Why Choose BlueBotics? 8 Questions for GO – The AGV Company
GO – The AGV Company is a new spin-off of Dutch automation specialist KV Techniek, which began working with BlueBotics in 2020. Here two of the company’s engineers, Michael Wentzler and Paul Sinke, give their feedback on the experience.
Robotics and automation specialist, KV Techniek, first partnered with BlueBotics in 2020, integrating our ANT lite+ technology and adopting our ANT server fleet manager to provide precise navigation and management capabilities for its growing range of forked AGVs.
Now offered under the company’s new GO – The AGV Company offshoot, the firm’s vehicles are today used to automate a wide range of internal logistics flows spanning warehouse, distribution center, and manufacturing sites.
Below two of the company’s engineers, Michael Wentzler and Paul Sinke, give their feedback on the experience of working with BlueBotics and ANT technology.

1. What challenge were you looking to address by working with BlueBotics?
Wentzler: We were looking for a turnkey logistical solution, as not only do we manufacture and install AGVs, we also integrate robots into production lines. For projects that use robots and automated guided vehicles for pallet transport, we needed a navigation system that was flexible in terms of routing. And that’s exactly what BlueBotics offers.
2. What was your main concern before working with us, if you had one?
Sinke: When we started developing our vehicles, we were still fairly unfamiliar with AGVs and navigation software, so we were very curious how our implementation of ANT lite+ would go. But BlueBotics is a dynamic company with the necessary experience and a worldwide reputation, which gave us confidence.
“Vehicle commissioning is quick and predictable, and once in operation the fleet behaves exactly as expected — even in dynamic environments.”
3. What specific aspects of our ANT navigation technology do you appreciate the most?
Wentzler: We drive the vehicle around and it quickly learns the environment. After this, we can easily create its routes. Another feature we particularly value is how intuitive the ANT lab software is. It allows us to fine-tune vehicle behavior without needing deep programming knowledge, which really helps streamline deployment. Also, the fact that the system is infrastructure-free means we can install AGVs at customer sites with minimal disruption and fast turnaround times.
4. How well does BlueBotics technology work — when commissioning vehicles, in operation, at a fleet level etc.?
Sinke: BlueBotics’ technology is a reliable and stable navigation system. There are continuous improvements, with new features released every six weeks, and the software has proven to be very stable so far.
In addition, the fleet management capabilities offered by ANT server help us scale projects with confidence. Vehicle commissioning is quick and predictable, and once in operation the fleet behaves exactly as expected — even in dynamic environments. The frequent software updates also show us that the product is actively evolving, which is reassuring.
5. How has working with BlueBotics changed your business?
Wentzler: BlueBotics’ technology has enabled us to offer smarter, more responsive automation solutions. Instead of piecing together third-party systems, we now deliver integrated automation lines where GO’s AGVs and KV-Techniek’s robots work together seamlessly. This integration allows us to boost efficiency for our clients while strengthening our position as a one-stop automation partner.
“The support we receive from BlueBotics is quick and high quality — usually we get a response within an hour!”
6. What specific results have you experienced from working with our team?
Sinke: We found a flexible navigation system that meets our needs. Beyond the technology itself, the close collaboration with the BlueBotics team has also accelerated our development cycle. With their help, we’ve shortened project lead times and delivered complex systems on schedule. We also appreciate their openness to feedback, which makes the relationship feel like a true partnership rather than a standard supplier arrangement.
7. How would you describe the support offered by BlueBotics?
Wentzler: The support we receive from BlueBotics is quick and high quality — usually we get a response within an hour! Even when we request new things, this is done in just a few days. For example, when we started to use a new type of battery the communication profile in ANT lab was not yet available. BlueBotics’ team was able to realize this quickly.
8. What is the main reason you might recommend BlueBotics to other vehicle makers?
Sinke: ANT lite+ from BlueBotics is a flexible navigation software. Together with BlueBotics’ enthusiastic team the company makes a great partner for vehicle makers.
